This workshop focuses on explaining the role and responsibilities of campus security authorities (CSAs), the reporting authority of the Clery Act, and guiding participants through understanding how to identify and train someone to be a CSA. Utilizing the Clery Act statute and regulations, current Department of Education guidance, and findings from program reviews, facilitators will instruct on best practices to apply when analyzing the functions of roles for CSA designation, standardizing CSA reporting procedures, and creating engaging CSA trainings.  

Attend this workshop if you:

• are responsible for identifying and training CSAs on your campus, or
• need to learn about your own responsibilities as a CSA.

Fees:

$125 per registrant
$95 for Member registrants

Your registration payment is required by Monday, February 6.  If payment is not received by this day, your registration will be cancelled and your training seat will be released.  We accept credit cards, checks, and purchase orders. Cancellation Policy:

Registrants who cancel by February 6 will receive a credit equal to their payment towards a future Clery Center purchase – training or materials.

A: As a way to support institutions in their efforts to comply with section 106.45 of the final Title IX Rules, Clery Center does provide its Title IX-related training materials as appropriate.
