In order to create a culture of reporting on campus, it is important to decentralize education on reporting responsibilities. Engaging as many roles, offices, and departments as possible to not only be ambassadors of the Clery Act, but train their respective organizations on campus security authority responsibilities ensures that as many CSAs as possible receive intentional, appropriate training on how to enact their role. We will identify multiple techniques and strategies for how to train others on CSA reporting responsibilities, set goals for institution-specific or department-specific curriculum development, and share tools participants can adapt for their own use. 

Attend this workshop if you are:

• Responsible for leading or supporting the training of CSAs on your campus.

Fees:

$125 per registrant
$95 for Member registrants

Your registration payment is required by Tuesday, October 10.  If payment is not received by this day, your registration will be cancelled and your training seat will be released.  We accept credit cards, checks, and purchase orders. Cancellation Policy:

Registrants who cancel by October 10 will receive a credit equal to their payment towards a future Clery Center purchase – training or materials.

Q: Do you share your materials for Title IX purposes?

A: As a way to support institutions in their efforts to comply with section 106.45 of the final Title IX Rules, Clery Center does provide its Title IX-related training materials as appropriate. Clery Center maintains sole discretion over what, if any, materials used during a training, workshop, or other event are applicable. You can read our guidelines in full here.
