Pearl Kim
A survivor of campus sexual assault, Pearl Kim has dedicated her career to advocating for victims of crime, advancing public safety, and strengthening institutional accountability. Her journey from survivor to special victims prosecutor has come full circle as she now serves as Executive Director of Clery Center, where she is honored to advance its mission of making college and university campuses safer for all.

Ms. Kim has devoted her career to public service and victim advocacy, including her work as a consultant to the National Mass Violence Center. Previously, she served as a Senior Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, where she was a member of the senior management team in the Executive Office and led the statewide College Campus Safety Initiative.

Prior to that, Ms. Kim served as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County, where she was Chief of the Human Trafficking Unit within the Special Victims and Domestic Violence Division and secured Pennsylvania's first human trafficking conviction under the state's trafficking statute.

Her work as a prosecutor and victim advocate has earned national and statewide recognition, including the American Bar Association's Norm Maleng Minister of Justice Award, the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Government Attorney of the Year Award, and Pennsylvania's Governor's Victim Service Pathfinder Award, recognizing her contributions as a survivor activist.

Ms. Kim earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where she received the Villanova Achievement Scholarship, and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.
