Abigail Boyer | Associate Executive Director Abigail Boyer has been with Clery Center since 2012, becoming Associate Executive Director in 2015 and previously serving as Interim Executive Director from 2018-2019. Abigail plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational planning of the organization. She is responsible for overseeing key organizational functions, including leadership of cross-functional teams, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring effective implementation of Clery Center’s mission to improve campus safety across the nation. She is an advocate for creating a culture of safety and accountability on college campuses and regularly presents nationally on topics related to the Clery Act, campus safety, and violence prevention. Abigail is instrumental in collaborating with internal teams and external partners to align goals, refine processes, and drive results. She leads public-facing efforts and outreach, positioning Clery Center as a trusted voice on campus safety. In addition to her contributions to thought leadership and resource development, Abigail manages the organization’s Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) technical assistance grant. This grant provides institutions with vital support to enhance their prevention and response strategies for dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. She ensures the successful implementation of these programs, delivering customized technical assistance and training to help institutions meet their Clery Act requirements. Before joining Clery Center, Abigail served as the Community Outreach Coordinator for The Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, Inc., where she spearheaded the development and implementation of programs target towards law enforcement, colleges and universities, and other students, parents, and community members. Abigail holds a B.A. in Political Science from West Chester University and an M.S. in Organization Development and Leadership with a concentration in Adult Learning and Training from Saint Joseph’s University. She is a contributor to national publications including Campus Safety Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, LA Times, and Huffington Post. |
